A Fond Farewell from Lake View

After many wonderful years of welcoming guests to Portinscale, Lake View Guest House has officially closed its doors.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all our guests, past and present, who chose to stay with us. From those who visited once to the familiar faces who returned year after year, you have made this journey truly special. It has been an absolute privilege to be a small part of your Lake District memories.

Theater By The Lake

Lake View is an ambassador for The Theatre By the Lake, please ask for your £3 money off voucher upon booking. The theatre, hailed by The Independent as "the most beautifully located and friendly theatre in Britain”, opened in 1999 and is set a short stroll from Derwentwater on the edge of Keswick and amid the magnificent western fells of the Lake District. - See more
